 Dr. Andréanne Bergeron obtained her Ph.D. in Criminology from Montreal University and now works as a cybersecurity researcher at GoSecure’s independent research lab. Acting as the social scientist of the team, she is interested in online attackers’ behaviors. The objective of her research is to extend scientific knowledge around malicious hackers, develop solutions to protect users and deanonymize attackers and their tools. She is involved in the information security field as the Scientific Director of Open-Source Development Research Group (GARDESO) and as the V-P engagement and outreach at NorthSec.
